CoMeDPro Final Conference

The closing activities for this European project, developed during 2014 and 2015, were held on 14th, 15th  and 16th December 2015.
During the first day, the project’s international partners met for a working session at the Ministry to review the activities that had been completed and those that were still pending.
Amongst other things, the partners discussed the training seminars, the expert training, the best practices and success stories booklets, the transnational online business event, the online marketing platform www.gomedexp.eu, communication activities, etc.
The afternoon was devoted to the project capitalisation session.

On the second and third days, the activities were held at the Palau de Pedralbes in Barcelona
On Tuesday, 15th December, a business angel event was held with Catalan companies taking part in this project.
The afternoon was devoted to update project information with the coordinator of the liaison office from the ENPI CBC MED programme’s secretariat.

Last day event, on Wednesday, 16 December, was attended by Jordi Ciuraneta, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food, and senior officials from the other countries, Mr Amir Halevi, Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Tourism, Mr Marco Riccardo Rusconi, trade attaché at the Italian embassy in Madrid, and Mr Mario Murru, secretary of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia’s Department of Tourism, Crafts and Commerce. The director of LAG Marmilla, Mr Renzo Ibba, also attended to the meeting.

The touristic product resulting from this project, the Mediterranean Experience (www.gomedexp.com), was presented at this session.
The capitalisation contacts were held with other international projects included in the ENPIC CBC MED programme, such as Lactimed, MedDiet and MEET, and other projects such as the European Gastronomic Region.
The project’s continuity was discussed with various representatives from Catalonia and the other two countries taking part in the project.
Finally, participation diplomas were given to the participating Catalan oil and wine companies assisting at Palau de Pedralbes.
